How do you get a useful WorkBuddy document draft?

Provide audience, purpose, known facts and prohibited promises.

The short answer

Review an outline before a short draft. A generated document still needs factual checks for dates, prices and client statements.

Try it in three steps

  • Choose a concrete use such as an internal procedure.
  • Supply actual steps and screenshot descriptions.
  • Review against facts before exporting a required format.

A practice prompt

Before you start

Write a one-page guide from these confirmed steps without inventing interface details.

Practice material (fictional)

Process: collect practice receipt sheets, check item IDs, list missing items in an issues sheet, ask the warehouse owner to confirm.

Replace placeholders in the prompt with this material, or append the material if there are no placeholders. Reading time excludes doing the exercise.

Draft a one-page onboarding procedure from confirmed steps. Outline first and flag missing steps without inventing buttons or screenshots.

What to look for (not a recorded test result)

Include the four steps and a confirmation branch; no invented Smart approval button.

If it goes wrong

Replace generic improvement claims with the reader's next concrete action.

Check your result

A new colleague can find the entry and follow actions, with unknown steps identified.
