Context
The client needed inventory management connected to product variants, purchasing, returns and stocktakes. Quantities and statuses must agree with the actual business operations.
My role
Independently handled requirements, workflow analysis, development on the existing foundation and delivery.
Work delivered
Adapted an existing foundation for inventory, connecting PC and H5 entry points with reference data, purchasing, stock and business overview pages.
Approach
Defined the scope after a half-day requirements discussion. With limited later client communication, I continued from the initial discovery and industry understanding.
Cross-checked documents, stock and transactions rather than relying on a success message. A stocktake example appears below.
One stocktake review
In a test record dated September 23, 2026, a product variant had 1 unit on the books and 0 counted. Three results were cross-checked after submission.
